2007-08-30 [The Monochrome Rainbow]: or if i couldn't find a glass toilet... i saw at a science museum once a toilet that was cut in half, and a piece of glass formed the one side so you could see how it flushes. i could do something like that... i once put some goldfish (live, bought for this purpose) in a toilet to try to take pictures of them, but they kept swimming down into the pipe before i could focus the camera. so i had to settle on a picture with flowers instead, because they don't move.

2007-08-30 [Rat Hacker]: I was just going to ask if they swam down the pipe. I find that post funny. I have had that impulse to do that before to. I take it that toilet in the picture was still in use? What did your mom or whoever you live with think about that? I kinda figure you did not leave them in there though.

2007-08-30 [The Monochrome Rainbow]: they didn't really say too much, other than that it would make a great advertisement for some toilet bowl cleaner... leaves your toilet bowl smelling like... they were always conservative, and trying not to hamper me, so there was always this awkward silence after i did anything "unusual" when you could tell they wanted to ... discourage me... but at the same time didn't want to hamper my "artistic spirit"

2007-09-15 [windowframe]: I assume what you're saying is you took a picture, developed it, and then scanned the developed print with a piece of paper behind it? All you need to do is take a zoomed out picture of the wall with the doodle on, and scan it in again. :)

It comes in tubes with tips to ink or paint with. Once it dries, it is permanent. It's very often done/used for designing on things like tablecloths. :)
